If a game can sum up a season then this is the one. Godalming needed to win to keep their faint hopes of finishing out of the bottom three alive and despite being on the back foot for much of the first half they went in at halftime with a 1 nil lead. The doubled it within the opening minutes of the second half. Guildford were not to take it sitting down and fought back to take a 3-2 lead, with chances coming and being squandered by City it is so often the case that you pay for it and this game didn't disappoint with Godalming getting two quick goals to take the lead on the 90th minute. Only for Dan Stewart to complete his hat-trick and level the match in added time. We can only hope that Godalming are given a reprieve and not relegated to Div1.

Well played City but also I’d like to praise Godalming for never giving up and making it a tough exciting game . I hope sincerely they get a reprieve in this division but I’m sure if they do end up being relegated this season they will bounce straight back up next season
